Mini meet ups gather together planners that share passions and similar interests so you can share and discuss your experiences and inspire each other. We will set up mini meet ups for different planner types and styles so you can meet friends new and old that use the same set up (e.g. Erin Condren meet up, Hobonichi meet up, Bullet Journal meet up, etc). This is the opportunity to coo over other peoples planners and to find out how they do things!
For anyone that is new to a particular planner type/brand or interested in seeing one in action before they buy one, it will also be really useful to ask questions of more experienced users.
You are not tied to attending any mini meet ups but you may wish to attend one or several mini meet ups throughout the day.

Campfire sessions are smaller, more intimate conversations about the topics that interest you with small groups of other like-minded people. A different focus is outlined on different tables and attendees can choose which group to join if they wish. You are free to stay with one group or during the allocated session time you may want to move between several different groups and discussions that interest you.
Imagine sitting around a campfire at a festival with friends and talking about the things that really interest and inspire you. This is how campfire sessions work. (Minus the fires of course!)
Share your planner questions - this can be absolutely anything you want to discuss at the event: things that puzzle you, things you want to learn more about, things you want to see. We will use these ideas, as well as ideas of our own, to create topics for the different campfire sessions. If you want to create your own campfire session on the day you can also let us know and we can make it happen.
Creativity Stations are short opportunities to get creative, learn a new skill, try something out or make something to take away.
Creativity Stations will happen throughout the event. All attendees will have a programme detailing all of the different interactive stations and you can visit as many or few as you wish.

Creativity Stations are short opportunities to get creative, learn a new skill, try something out or make something to take away.
Creativity Stations will happen throughout the event. All attendees will have a programme detailing all of the different interactive stations and you can visit as many or few as you wish.
Each Creativity Station has a dedicated host, an expert or enthusiast who can demonstrate, show you the ropes, and offer top tips and inspiration.
Creativity Stations enable you to build your own itinerary, and focus on the things that appeal to you most and suit your personal planner style.
This unique and groundbreaking approach is just one of many ways PlannerFest is different to other planner events!
It is really important to us that anyone new to planning, new to planner events, attending alone or just wanting to meet more planner friends will do so at PlannerFest.
Even if you do not know a single person before you attend I guarantee that you will leave with lots of new planner friends from this fantastic, supportive community.
I work as a university lecturer by day and I am a planner and journal addict by night. I have three children. Without my (fountain) pen and paper I would not be able to keep everything on track! After 24 years of event management experience, and 20 years running my own small business, I wanted to combine my skills and passion to create an exciting new event for planner addicts and stationery lovers everywhere.
As a proud Northerner myself, the North West is the natural location for PlannerFest and Manchester is such an exciting city to explore.
I have lots of ideas and a strong vision for the event and PlannerFest is already well on its way to being the largest annual must-attend event for the planner community, which can continue to grow year on year.
